CHAPTER 5: THE LIFE OF BRENDA BAY     The Brackwells and George had silently witnessed the whole scene and the veiled woman, Brenda's outburst with confusion evident on their faces. No sooner had Brenda slammed her compartment door closed, than Lily and John came back, with dejected looks. Lily sat down heavily on her seat and looked out of the window, her face blank. John was sitting quietly, his head hung low.       "Who was that woman, Brenda? And why was she so much aggressive? She looked like she would chop off your heads, if you said another word!", Alice asked.       "Brenda Bay has been a regular visitor here, since Eddie, her little brother, was two years old. She had lost her parents around that time. The poor girl has had a pathetic life", John said, sighing and shaking his head in sympathy.        "No John. Her life wasn't pathetic. Her life had been made miserable by some bastards who ruined her life. ...

CHAPTER FOUR: MEETING NEW PEOPLE               "All aboard the Highland Express!", John yelled, at the top of his lungs. George was the first one to get aboard the train; Alice followed him. Fred patted Molly's back reassuring her that everything will be fine, and got up. Lastly, Molly got up the train, slowly. The four of them were awestruck. The inside of the train was nothing like they had imagined. It was very homey and comfy-looking.       John got in after them, and led them, to what he said, was the visitors' compartments. "Here, these three compartments are reserved exclusively for visitors. Take your pick", he instructed them. As soon as they entered into one of the three compartments, and prepared to take a seat, they saw John enter the compartment. He slid the door of the compartment, halfway close.        "Hey! What are you doing here? Are you going to sit with us now?", Alice asked, voicing the quest...

CHAPTER 3: ALL ABOARD THE HIGHLAND EXPRESS!          It would be an understatement to say that the four teens were stunned. Their hearts nearly turned to lead. They stared at John, disbelievingly. For a few moments, they kept staring at each other, Mr. Abott smiling, and the four teens, bewildered.          "No! Absolutely not! Who do you think we are? Five-year old, spoon-fed kids or brainless idiots, huh? We are neither! Why should we trust you and board that bloody train?", Alice yelled, losing her temper for the first time, that day.                      Alice has quite a temper         Molly was livid and kept muttering, "No. No. This can't be happening. This can't be happening". She was practically shaking in fright. George tried consoling her, but he himself was frightened to the core. Fred's head was whirling. He was still tryin...

CHAPTER 2: LANDING IN THE OTHER WORLD        A sucking sensation had gripped the four teens, as they were sucked in through the portal. They felt as if being sucked in through a tunnel. Suddenly, they landed, on a pavement, not too gracefully. Stumbling, they held onto each other for standing straight.         "Owww! My head hurts so bad. My head is spinning. What on earth was THAT?", Fred exclaimed, groaning.         Molly was looking around the whole surroundings, wide-eyed and open-mouthed.  "Are we dead? Is this heaven? If it is, then what are you doing in heaven Fred?", Alice said. "Hey, what rubbish are you talking about? You are supposed to be my sister", Fred accused, giving her a glare.        "Yes, and you are supposed to rot in hell", Alice shot back, smiling like an angel.         "Oi! Is this the time?! Grow up, you two", George said, frowning at th...
